They’re Big, They’re Scary and They’re Back! DINO-ROAR is back at MOSH!

Jacksonville has dinosaurs and seeing is believing! The Museum of Science and History (MOSH) is proud to present DINO-ROAR, a hands-on exhibit that includes the most amazing animatronic, life-like dinosaurs.Â

Here is a preview of the dinosaurs that you’ll see: Tyrannosaurus Rex, Pteranodan, Pachecephylosaurus, Stegosaurus, a family of Triceratops and a Duckbill Dino. Your young archaeologists will also love the Dino Dig Box and rubbing station. They’ll love the Museum gift shop, too.

You’ll get to see each dinosaur surrounded by the habitats that they might have roamed in millions of years ago, and you’ll even get to hear them roar and watch them move.Â

Each dinosaur was hand-built by Kokoro of Japan using scientific literature, evidence from actual fossil records and expert advice from paleontologists. That explains why they look so real! Â

These dinosaurs will be roaming around until the extinction of summer. Museum hours are 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday – Friday; 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Saturday; and 1 to 6 p.m. Sunday. Museum admission is $9 for adults, $7.50 for military and senior citizens, $7 for children 3-12, and free for children 2 and under and members. Have fun!
