Moms Can Get In Free This Weekend

All around the Sunshine State, moms will be celebrated this weekend and many attractions are even offering free admission to the hardest working, most deserving women on the planet:

Orlando
Help mom relax by taking her on a stroll in a beautiful garden. Mothers get in for free at
Harry P. Leu Gardens in Orlando from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Sunday, May 10. Mom can enjoy three miles of scenic walkways through 50 acres of glorious gardens.

Medieval Times, the Medieval-themed dinner show, is offering free admission for mothers on Mother's Day with one full paid admission. Moms also receive a free flower.

Jacksonville
If mom loves music, take her to a Free Mother's Day Concert by The Jacksonville Symphony Orchestra. This fine event will be at the Sea Walk Pavilion from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m. Visit jacksonvillebeach.org.

Is Mom a golfer? (Well, mini golfer?)
Adventure Landing on
Jacksonville Beach offers free mini-golf play for Mom all day on May 10 when she’s accompanied by a paying player. Visit www.adventurelanding.com.

South Florida
If mom is adventurous, take her on a nature ride through the Florida Everglades. Big Cypress Seminole Indian reservation is offering a day-trip package for free to all moms accompanied by a child who has paid admission.

Fort Lauderdale
Bonnet House Museum & Gardens is giving moms free admission to the historic grounds on May 10. The museum and gardens will be open Sunday from noon - 4 p.m. The last house tour is at 2:30 p.m. Admission is $20; $18 for those 60 and older; $16 for children ages 6 -12; and free for children younger than 6. Tour of grounds only is $10.

Coconut Creek
Give your mom wings and take her to spend an afternoon at
Butterfly World. Mothers get in free Saturday and Sunday. (Hours are 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday and 11 to 5 Sunday.)Â Gates close at 4 p.m. The garden is at Tradewinds Park, 3600 W. Sample Road. Admission is $24.95 for adults; $19.95 for children ages 3-11; and free for those 2 and younger.
