Ever heard of Indialantic?
I didn’t think so -- and that’s as sorry as a fish without fins!
If you’re looking for a beach getaway with old-time-Florida flavor and flair this southern Space Coast gem is hard to beat. It’s only twenty minutes from bustling Cocoa Beach, but it’s much more secluded, with miles of shoreline sprawling as far as you can see.
I just returned from a soul-soothing trip to its serene sands, where I stayed with my hubby at the oceanfront Tuckaway Shores resort. We had this little private deck that opened up right to the ocean, and for me that was the best part.
One night we sat outside and toasted the full moon coming up over the waves, and one morning I watched a huge thunderstorm lashing the sea from the same place. And you should see the beach. You can throw down your towel practically anywhere, and … wait.
Instead of me rambling on about it, why don’t you just watch the little video I shot of Indiatlantic and Tuckaway Shores? I predict you’ll be splashing into town before the next high tide.

We've already made reservations at Tuckaway Shores for next January! I came across this video while looking for things to do in Melborne while we're there (although we'll probably just sit on the beach). Thanks so much for this - I know we're gonna love it and not want to leave. BTW, I grew up in S. Miami and never heard of Indialantic - Cocoa Beach was always my favorite.
