Hang gliding is my passion, and in 2006, I helped the U.S. Women's Hang Gliding Team win silver in the World Championships. An author, ultimate adventure lover, beach bunny and sand snob, I've visited almost every beach in Florida and can't wait to explore more. Join me as I flip-flop across the Sunshine State, sharing the softest sand, sweetest shores and a boatload of adventure.

It’s happening!
Spring training season has swung into the Sunshine State, offering the chance to watch major league baseball teams like the Phillies and Yankees up-close and on the cheap. Here’s a link to the 15(!) 2010 Grapefruit League teams, their locations and their schedules.
Wondering what the fun is like? Check out my trash-talking video of my trip to Port Charlotte to watch the Rays and the Phillies last spring.
These games are just one more reason to Share a Little Sunshine…
Wait? You haven’t heard about it? Have you been on Pluto all winter? All you have to do is invite an out-of-state friend to visit Florida. They’ll receive special offers, you’ll be entered to win a vacation and it’s good for our home state, too.
