Biking Lake Minneola

I couldn’t be prouder if I had just won a Pulitzer.
I actually just made a movie. I brought my spiffy, new, cell-phone-size Kodak Zx1 video camera on my bike ride today. I rode from my house to Clermont’s Waterfront Park and then around Lake Minneola, which is about 15 miles total and my favorite jaunt.
Lake Minneola is a hot spot for windsurfing, waterskiing and wakeboarding, and you can swim and fish there, too. The bike trail runs all the way from the Waterfront Park to Killarney Station, and then it hooks up with the West Orange Trail, so you have all sorts of options for places to go. You can rent bikes or roller blades from Bikes ‘n Blades at Killarney.
