The Emerald Coast beckons golf enthusiasts and scratch players alike with over 1,000 holes of exciting challenges. Our links capitalize on the scenic contrasts of surrounding woods and wetlands, successfully complementing what nature has provided. Be sure to visit Fort Walton Beach Golf Club for relaxing play and a solid score. The first 18 holes feature broad fairways and spacious greens, and the challenging back course is tree-lined and features capacious water hazards. Surrounded by the Gulf of Mexico and Choctawhatchee Bay, Indian Bayou Golf & Country Club strikes the right balance of difficulty and playability. Robert C. Walker designed Regatta Bay Golf & Country Club is the area's only Audubon-registered course. Emerald Bay was lauded by Golfweek as one of the "50 Most Distinctive Development Courses in the Southeast." Shalimar Pointe Country Club takes the honor of having "Two of the Hardest Holes on the Emerald Coast," according to Links magazine. Designers Fred Couples and Gene Bates, fashioned an impressive championship golf course from the intrinsic beauty of the land with miles of waterfront, intricate bayous and towering trees at Kelly Plantation Golf Course. The course is rated 4 ½ Stars by Golf Digest and boasts over 7,000 yards of large contoured greens, Wide fairways, and picturesque views of the bay. Gina,
I am sorry the reservationist at Holiday Inn Resort on Okaloosa Island did not offer you the listed special. I spoke with the management and they said it should have been honored and the special is still valid through October. You can call the Sales Office directly at 800-526-6427 and Angie or Ivana would be happy to help you with your reservation.
Thank you for visiting the Emerald Coast!
I am trying to reserve a 3 day reservation @ holiday inn resort on ookaloosa island and they are saying there is not a special of 20% off with a three day booking as advertised under emerald specials on your website
Why doesn't Florida recycle?? we enjoyed a wonderful week in Miramar Beach, Destin last week, but were unable to recycle anything! No recycling location in building, or locality that we could find and were ashamed to be adding to land fill our bottles, bags cardboard, paper etc... What a shame for such a important area of conservation. Anyone have any knowledge of where recycling may occur in this vicinity, or who to contact to discuss further? Thank you.
