Learn about Florida's golf club professionals.
All of Florida's golf courses are managed by PGA Professionals. The PGA of America is divided into 41 different Sections, of which Florida has three.
The Dixie Section encompasses most of northwest Florida as well as Alabama.
The North Florida Section begins just west of Tallahassee and stretches over to the east coast. It's southeastern boundary is just north of Vero Beach. Its southwestern boundary is just north of Punta Gorda.
The South Florida Section includes the rest of the state as well as Puerto Rico.
PGA Professionals are highly skilled and well trained business men and women who are in charge of the day-to-day operations of Florida's great golf courses. In addition to their many duties, they compete professionally in sanctioned PGA events and still perform at a high level.
