We took a terrific Sunset Cruise with Captain Charlie. Our kids are young(4 & 2) and the boat was perfect for taking them for their 1st ride. Captain Charlie started off going nice & easy so they didn't get scared. Then, our oldest asked if we could go fast. The Captain said "sure" and off we went. I think our kids are still smiling and our vacation was about a month ago. We plan on going back to Boca Grande next year and another Cruise with Captain Charlie is definitely on our list of things to do again.

What a GREAT day on the water today! Captain kept us entertained all morning! I cannot say enough about our shelling/family trip! Cannot wait to go again! Let him know what you want or expect and he comes through! Thanx Capt! My two year old is still talking about it!

We had the best day of our vacation on the water with Captain Charlie. His boat is perfect and the ocean is beautiful. He took us where ever we wanted to go and he is a charming person to spend the day with, even if you have brought along a two year old! I am ready to do it again. It was also a great deal! Can't beat it!

We had such a fun day island hopping with Captain Charlie! We had been thinking about just renting a boat, but I am so glad we didn't. Captain Charlie did a fabulous job taking us where we wanted to go and made the day so worry and hassle free. The boat is very clean and a great size for being able to pull in close to all those remote obsure beaches. Truly a great day and a great time. Captain Charlie is the best!

If you are looking for a great fishing experience with a great Captain then this is the place.Captain Charlie made our fishing trip a very memorable one and was a most gracious host. The boat was super clean and had plenty of room to move around and plenty of storage for anything you bring. He also had coolers for your beverages and even had some drinks for those who didn`t bring any. I am not the biggest fisherman in the world( as i was the only one out of my party who didn`t catch anything )but the Captain showed me everything that we needed to do,helped with the fish that everybody else caught and was just an all around great person. The best part of the trip was fishing and talking to our friends from Michigan,Cindy & Rich and meeting our new friend Captain Charlie. .........Greg G.

Just wanted to say thank you to Captain Charlie one more time by taking a moment to write this review. Just got back from a great time catching fish with some good friends Lori & Greg from the great state of Indiana. I'd like to say that our charter started out with a misunderstanding. Captain Charlie had his boat ready for island hopping vs fishing. However within 20 minutes Captain Charlie had us all rigged and cruising the gulf bay. Although it was a beautiful day the waves were rough out in the gulf,we all decided it best to keep our lunch where we orginally intended it( Our Tummies!)and kept our fishing within the bay area. We saw many sting rays, birds, our friend Lori thought she saw a whale and later after further review by others was able to gain her agreement that it was a pelican vs a whale.(smile) Captain Charlie had sunscreen, sunglasses, towels, refreshments, great selection of music and a spotless clean boat. The good captain gave us an additional hour to our 1/2 day charter to make up for any inconvience at the beginning. Our day ended with the fresh air in our lungs, sunshine in our eyes, smiles across our faces, fond fishing stories to take home with us and some salt water spray ocassionally on our skin (smile). Captain Charlie is a person of good charactor, wants to go the distance creating a positive experience. We all would agree that the next time we visit Placida, the Island Timer Charter would be a part of our activities. You can't go wrong by chartering with captain Charlie and I have been on a number of charters. p.s There are several restaurants close by with great seafood and specials that you most likely won't find back home and the prices were reasonable.
