| Gators will be swarming in the Swamp soon, and I can promise you it’s a spectacle you don’t want to miss. You heard that right, the Florida Gators – the fifth-ranked football team that represents the University of Florida – will be playing the University of Miami’s Hurricanes at "The Swamp," as Ben Hill Griffin Stadium in Gainesville is nicknamed. The game is this coming Saturday, Sept. 6.
And get this! ESPN’s College GameDay show, a two-hour program that airs live on ESPN each Saturday at 10 a.m., will be broadcasting from the grass outside the North End Zone of Ben Hill Griffin Stadium. The program covers college football viewpoints, topics and game previews.
If you can’t make Saturday’s game in person, there’s some good news. It will be featured on ESPN when the Gators (1-0) and the Hurricanes (1-0) meet at 8 p.m.
Besides, football season is just beginning. When the weather starts getting nasty up north, you could boogie down to Florida, catch some rays and a few games, too. Just an idea…
