Fun Runs at The Villages
August 27, 2008
Ladies and gentlemen, lace up your tennis shoes! The Villages’ recreation department is offering a series of three 5K races beginning in September and ending early 2009.

These races, sanctioned by the Florida Sports Foundation, are open to the young as well as the young at heart. If you’re 15 or older, whether you’re a resident of The Villages or call someplace else home, you’re welcome to join in the fun at Lake Sumter Landing. The top three racers in each age group will qualify for State Senior Games.

Oh, and no excuses that you’re too old. The runs include a section for those who are 100 or older.
