The question was this.

Can a visit to a theme park – even one with the word ‘adventure’ in its name – truly be considered an adventure? My husband Paul and I drove to Orlando yesterday to find out for ourselves – and the answer is a screaming-loud yes indeed!

Insider’s Tips:

·    Get the Express Pass. It’s well worth the cost because you don’t have to wait in line.
·    They sell little plastic holders for your Express Pass at the front of the park, which you can wear around your neck. They are a great idea. I figured that out about the fifth time I fished the soggy remains of my pass out of my pocket.
·    Prepare to get wet. You will. (I wore my bathing suit under my clothes.)
·    Bring a plastic bag to keep your wallet in. (See above – you’re going to get soaked!)
·    Wear comfortable footwear.
