You’ve heard about the right mix, the right stuff, the right move, the right start and certainly the right wing, but I’ll bet my beach towel you’ve never heard about the right whale – at least, not before right now.
The Right Whale Festival on Dec. 5, 2009 in Jacksonville Beach celebrates the endangered mammals' winter calving season off Northeast Florida's coast, and includes:
- Beach cleanup
- Ocean-focused music
- Ocean-focused art activities
- Beach run
- Booths where you can listen to whale sounds and learn more about marine mammals
Sounds like a righteous festival to me!
