Free Concerts and Dancing Under the Stars at Hollywood Beach
October 06, 2009
Imagine this: The surf laps at the shore, rhythmic and hypnotic. Even by moonlight, the Atlantic Ocean is beautiful, bits of light reflecting across its dark waves. A band plays, and you’re dancing to its music, swaying by the beach under a smattering of stars, thinking it couldn’t get much better than this.

At Hollywood Beach, you can build this kind of priceless memory -- for free.

When? Well, practically anytime. The Hollywood Beach Concert Series runs year-round, weather permitting, and the schedule is jam-packed. For instance, the Theatre under the Stars Concert series is on Mondays at the beach from 7:30 -9 p.m., while the Dancing under the Moonlight Concert Series is on Tuesdays at the beach -- and that’s just the tip of the potato.  An evening without an event is a rarity.

Check out their schedule if you’re going to be in town.

Never been there? Here’s a great video highlighting downtown Hollywood, and here’s one highlighting its natural side.
