Fat Tire Festival Spooky Spectacular in White Springs
October 02, 2009
I want to know if it’s really haunted.

But then, when I think about carving deep into the forest of White Springs on a bike, maybe not. I’m pretty sure that I want to keep thinking that creaky branch is just a creaky branch, not, umm, something else.

The Fat Tire Festival Spooky Spectacular in White Springs, Oct. 23-25, 2009, is going to be the favored haunt of bicyclists seeking fun and adventure. And why not? At the event, sponsored by Suwannee Bicycle Association you can:

•    Mingle at the Meet and Greet Wine Reception at Park Pavilion, headlined by Tinker Juarez, World and Olympic Mountain Bike Champion.
•    Shiver at a spooky movie.
•    Brave the “Trail of Fear” walk.
•    Swap pedaling stories by the bonfire.
•    Be whomever you want to be at the costume contest.
•    Bask in a bounty of bike-riding opportunities.

It sounds spook-tacular to me!

In this kind of setting, you hope that the creaky branch you're hearing is just a branch...
