You’ve heard the old saying about the early bird getting the worm. Only in this case, instead of creepy crawlers, the reward will be seats at the 52nd annual Daytona 500, NASCAR’s legendary, season-opening, Sprint Cup series race.
Pretty much beats the heck out of worms, if you ask me.
Tickets for the Daytona 500 (set for Feb. 14, 2010) went on sale May 16. They start at $55 and for the first time since 1982, there have been no ticket price increases for any seat locations. Also, parking at Daytona International Speedway is always free, race fans can continue to bring their coolers with food and beverages, and area hotels are continuing to make their rooms even more affordable.
You can purchase tickets online or by calling 1-800-PITSHOP or – the coolest way – by visiting the Daytona International Speedway ticket office inside the lobby of Daytona 500 Experience.
Remember to share the Sunshine State with your friends and family. Reconnecting is good for the soul and good for Florida’s economy, too. You can send your friends and family from around the globe a cool video invitation to visit, forward them super deals and be entered to win your own vacation courtesy of ShareaLittleSunshine.org. |
