It's no wonder more than 20,000 folks have made their way to the Patricia and Phillip Frost Art Museum at Florida International University since it opened last year this time. It's absolutely gorgeous! And, once inside, the aesthetics exponentially grow, with amazing collections that distinguish this jewel among Florida's many fantastic museums.
Now, as we approach the museum's first anniversary, Frost is keeping it interesting with its ongoing Target Wednesday After Hours: Meet the Artists series. Save the Date for November's free engagement. On Nov. 4, Dr. Nathan Katz will speak from 6-9 p.m. Guests will be enlightened to the Mystical Arts of Tibet.
As exciting as the talk will be the beautiful environment. I've had friends rave about the breathtaking space -- 46,000 feet of state-of-the-art architecture. Why wait until November? Head on over to the Frost today to catch the exhibit currently on view: The Missing Peace: Artists Consider the Dalai Lama, En Vista and lacuna in testimony.
Now that's some seriously sophisticated epicurean entertainment. |
