If you're planning a Jacksonville getaway, then you'll want to reserve at least a few hours for St. Johns Town Center. Words like "mall" and "retail center" don't do it justice. This is a shopping destination.
More than 1 million square feet of retail therapy. Eleven anchor stores. Plus a "park green" and restaurants perfect for date night or drinks with the girls.
On a recent weekend visit to Jacksonville, my hubby and I spent 90 minutes at the outdoor shopping complex. We tackled only a small section. I didn't even get to Barnes & Noble, DSW, Bare Escentuals or the new Tiffany & Co. Ideally, you'd want to block out a good half-day. And here's another tip: Wear flats. You're going to cover some serious ground.
St. Johns Town Center is at 4663 River City Drive. For more info, call 904-998-7156 or visit the St. Johns Town Center website.
