Hola! One of the great things about Florida is there are FESTIVALS taking place around the state year round. You name it, we got it: strawberries, art, history, maps, cars, music, food and wine, movies, orchids, pets, fashion, culture, seafood and so many, many more.
The 10th Annual Delray Beach Garlic Festival will be taking place Feb. 13-15 in South Florida. Barb Freda, VISITFLORIDA's Dining Expert, talks about the great things that will be cooked up during the garlic festival in her blog.
I am here to clue you in about the entertainment lined up to perform at the festival. On Friday, Feb. 13 taking stage at 8:30 p.m. will be Big Head Todd and the Monsters. They are the group that provided the "Blue Sky" soundtrack for Hillary Clinton at Democratic National Convention last year. The following evening at the same time, Los Lonely Boys known for their Tex-Mex rock songs will jamming the night away.
So if you are going to be anywhere near Delray in South Florida during those dates, take a detour and try some of the delicious garlic dishes and enjoy the entertainment! Ciao!
