Hi!  I just came across some info on an awesome New  Year's Eve Party in St. Petersburg.  It totally deserves a mention, since it takes care of the whole family!  Being a mom of two little devils, having a place to leave the kids to say goodbye to 2008 and kick off  the New Year right is essential! 

The TradeWinds Island Grand  is a tropical and traditional beachfront resort on the island of St. Pete Beach.  However, this New Year's it will be Rockin' in the Midnight Hour starting at 9 p.m.  in the TradeWinds Island Grand Ballroom. Partiers 21 and over are invited to put on their best party clothes and join an evening full of  music, cocktails, dancing, food and fun. The locally famous, Greg Billings Band will keep everyone dancing well into the New Year!

Another excellent option, if dancing is just not your thing, is a night of laughs. You can reserve a seat at the Coconuts Comedy Club show (also 21 and older) where five comedians will provide lots of laughter and fun. The show begins at 9:30 p.m., but you can arrive early and enjoy a pre-show dinner at Bermudas.

Now for those people like me, who wonder what they should do with the kids that night ... well at the Tradewinds, your kids will not be left out of the festivities. They will have their own party (very High School Musical).  Parents can make reservations for the KONK Club "Kids Only, No Kidding" New Years Eve Party, which will take place from 8 p.m. to 1 a.m.
