I hope you are having a wonderful holiday season so far!
I figure by now (some of you) might be a little shopped out. So, I say its time to sit back, remember all the good things that happened in 2008 and ring in the New Year with one of the many events taking place inFlorida. This week my blogs will give you a glimpse at what's happening in the Sunshine State.
Let's begin in the center of it all - Orlando!
New Year's Eve 2008 at Universal CityWalk
CityWalk is one of the best entertainment complex in Florida. It has great themed restaurants, lively nightclubs and unique shops. CityWalk will be hosting one of Orlando's hottest New Year's Eve parties. The evening will put you up close and personal with the Dobbie Brothers, offer a delicious gourmet buffet, a bubbly toast and live entertaiment at its nightclubs, including the groove, which is known for its electrifying dance music; City Jazz, a trendy jazz bar and Jimmy Buffett's Margaritaville's tropical rhythms. New Year's Eve at the Walt Disney World Resort
Disney's parks will come alive to bring in the New Year. Pleasure Island at Downtown Disney will have a huge street dance party worth checking out, along with its traditional countdown to midnight. Epcot will celebrate the New Year "around the world" with DJs and evening dance parties located throughout the World Showcase. Who says you can't visit France, Germany, Japan and Mexico all in one night?! Magic Kingdom will have its world renown "SpectroMagic" parade and multiple nightime fireworks displays. For those of you who will be up at the stroke of midnight, you will be able to see "Fantasy in the Sky" fireworks, which will begin right before the New Year.
