24th Annual White Party - Mount Olympus
November 11, 2008

Hola! For those individuals who follow fashions do's and don'ts, we know its been awhile since wearing white after Labor Day stopped being a fashion no-no.  As a matter of fact the color white, especially in Miami, has a special meaning right after Thanksgiving.

White is the color chosen to make a statement benefiting HIV/AIDS research during the Annual White Party Week  kicking off  on November 26th.  The all-white clothing theme was chosen by Frang Wager (co-founder of the event) because he believes "White stands for purity. White is elegant, non-political, non-combative and makes people look just plain beautiful." And I couldn't agree more!!

This will be an unparalleled week of fund-raising parties and events with more than 15,000 party-goers enjoying six days and nights of nonstop entertainment in the fight against HIV/AIDS.  The main event is the legendary White Party, which will take place at the exquisite Vizcaya Museum & Gardens on November 29th.   This year's theme is Mount Olympus.  Jennifer Holiday will perform during the grand event.

The nightlife scene will be screaming with the countries best DJ's. While some entertainment venues are free of charge the ones that do charge are worth every penny. For numerous party goers the Miami White Party is just a fun time, but to the numerous visitors whom have lost a loved one, it is a time to reflect, remember and celebrate life. The 2008 White Party will be from November 26  to December 1st.  Check out the event schedule for more details.

So go out and enjoy Miami's nightlife for a great cause!

Don't forget to live life large!    Ciao
