Hola!  Orlando is ready to kick off the Holiday Season with a wide variety of entertaining and festive  events.  Wanting to make sure visitors to my Sunshine State have a great time, here is a listing of events taking place in  Central Florida:

Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party - November 10- Dec. 19th                                                                       The Magic Kingdom plays hosts to this series of nighttime holiday fun events for the little ones including holiday shows, fireworks and magic treats with Minnie and Mickey; and let's not forget Pluto (my favorite character!)  For more information visit www.disneyworld.com or (407) 824-4321

ABC Super Soap Weekend - November 15-16                                                                                                       A A bevy of stars from the most celebrated soap operas visit Disney's Hollywood Studios for the world's biggest soap fan event.  Parades, autographs and photo opportunities allow guests to get up-close-and-personal with their favorite characters.  For more information visit:  www.disneyworld.com or (407) 824-4321

Osborne Family Spectacle of Lights - November 28 - January 4                                                                 This dazzling holiday extravaganza electrifies Disney's Hollywood Studios with millions of spaking lights.  With Jennings Osborne's lights and a little Disney magic, the big city comes alive in glowing color as snow falls overhead.  For more information visit www.disneyworld.com or (407) 824-4321

Fall Jazz Stoll - November 15                                                                                                                                 With a full moon as a backdrop, guests enjoy a leasurely evening of live jazz music in a beautiful garden setting at Harry P. ICE! At Gaylord Palms - November 17-January 4                                                                                              Who says the holidays in Florida are all about palm tress and sunshine?  Visitors should prepare for the coolest winter on record as Gaylord Palms Resort presents ICE! Leu's Holiday House - November 27 - January 12                                                                                            The beautifully restored late 19th century Leu House Museum is decked out for the holidays by some of Orlando's best interior designers.  Guests can stroll along the garden's meandering paths shadded by ancient oaks, forests of camellias and giant camphor trees.  For more information visit www.leugardens.com or (407) 246-2620

16th Annual Festival of Lights at Silver Springs - November - December 2009                                               Silver Springs' biggest special event of the year, the Festival of Lights, will feature more than 1 million twinkling lights and dozens of neon displays throughout the park from dusk until 8:30 p.m.  Nightly activities will include local choirs singing songs of the season, strolling carolers and musicians, a lighted boat parade, special stage shows, plus a visit from Santa Claus.  For more information visit www.silversprings.com or (407) 352-236-2121
