Kohl's, the discount department store chain, had six -- yes, I said six --  grand openings in Dade and Broward counties last week. Those brand names I listed are part of the large collection of private and exclusive brands on which Kohl's has built its reputation as a value-oriented, family retailer. 

Hollywood, Miramar, Homestead, Coconut Creek, Hileah and Kendall were the lucky destinations chosen to be Kohl's newest ventures. 

Kohl's has a sales flier each Sunday with discounts ranging from 25 percent to 60 percent off various collections. The merchandise also features national brands such as Levi's, Dockers, Carter's, Nike, Reebok and Jockey.
