Hola! Aside from being the oldest (continually occupied) city in the United States, St. Augustine knows how to throw a party. The inaugural Ancient City Crawfish Boil is turning out to be the hottest ticket in town, so listen up! Hot, delicious and spicy boiled crawfish will be the center of attention at this two-day music and lifestyle festival.
This festivity is modeled after the extremely successful and popular Crawfish Boils in Birmingham, AL, Nashville, TN, and Jackson, MS. Headlining will be Snoop Dogg, G. Love, 3 Doors Down, Flyleaf, Candlebox, Saving Abel, Corey Smith and others. It will take place Friday, May 8 and Saturday, May 9 at Francis Field.
If you purchase your tickets in advance, they are only $29.50 per day and $49.50 for a weekend pass. Tickets can be purchased at Ticketmaster.com.
Have fun! Ciao. |

The Crawfish Boil isn't coming back but the entire month of October, St. Augustine hosts the Flavors of Florida's Historic Coast. Dozens of restaurants are presenting a “Chef’s Choice†prix fixe (fixed price) three-course meal reflecting their unique flavors and style. I enjoyed a wide variety of meals and culinary styles. Truly delicious!

Is the crawfish boil coming back to jacksonvile/st augustine or anywhere local? We really enjoyed it and have yet to see it publicized in the last year or two... :(
