Hola! Today is the start of my Spring Break vacation ... I will be hitting the road with a great friend of mine and true 'yogimaster,' Gay Gay, and our kids. We decided to visit our own backyard this year, since our hubbies couldn't join us until the last leg of our road trip.   

The Hard Rock Hotel at Universal Orlando will be our headquarters in Orlando. Since our rugrats are no longer "babies,"  we figured it was time they enjoyed our version of a fun and hip accommodations. When I return from my trip, I will tell you all about the things we did to keep us entertained.

In the meantime, I wanted to share with you one of Orlando's best music treats!  Velvet Sessions is Hard Rock Hotel's soulful rock 'n' roll cocktail party and lobby concert series held the last Thursday of the month. Now, I don't know about you ... but you have to love a hotel that has concerts in the main lobby!!

On Thursday, April 30, the alternative rock band Gin Blossoms will be performing hits Follow You Down, Til I Hear It From You, Long Time Gone, Learning the Hard Way and other fan favorites.
