Movies in the Park Return to Treaty Oak in Jacksonville
April 03, 2009

Hola! When I was a little girl, my parents use to take my siblings and I to the drive-in movie theater!  Part of the highlight of those evenings was when my dad would take off the convertible top. The feel of the warm air on my skin always brought a big smile to my face. I truly loved watching the movies under the stars. When I read about the following event, those wonderful memories came flashing back ...

Movies in the Park are returning to the historic Treaty Oak at Jessie Ball DuPont Park in Jacksonville.  I suggest if you are near the Jax area on April 17 and April 24 with your family, you pack up a delicious picnic basket, grab a nice comfy blanket and some lawn chairs for an enjoyable evening outdoors in Downtown Jacksonville.

I have no doubt, your family will enjoy the free movie nights. The event series begins with Indiana Jones And The Temple of Doom on April 17 and E.T.: The Extra Terrestrial on April 24.

For more information, call (904) 451-3344 or (904) 630-CITY or visit www.downtownjacksonville.org.

Have fun at the movies!  Ciao.
