Hola! Known as one of the world's largest block parties, Calle Ocho Street Festival will be the perfect place to experience the flavors of the Latin community in Miami on Sunday, March 15.
What started out over 30 years ago as a15-block Cuban celebration in Little Havana, has evolved into a well-orchestrated 23-block Hispanic street party full of passionate performers, tantalizing and ethnic food stands, vendors showcasing their products, activities for the young and old and a whole lot of dancing.
If you are in South Florida this upcoming weekend to kick off your Spring Break, this is the one event that will bring Miami's melting pot together for a one-of-a-kind experience.
Here are some very important tips if you plan to attend: wear comfortable shoes (we are talking 23 blocks of festivities here); sunscreen is a must for this tropical celebration; light clothing is highly recommended; and if you are currently on a diet, throw it out the window! The food here is worth breaking every part of it!
Have a great time! Ciao!
