Let the music move you ... Universal Orlando Resort has unleashed the largest Mardi Gras festivity this side of the bayou with the most amazing and electrifying concert series in the event's history!
Headlining this year's celebration are 13 of the most recognized names in R&B, rock, pop, country, hip hop and more ... With a combined total of more than 300 million records sold and a dozen Grammy Awards, the line-up includes performances by Billboard Chart-topper Ne-Yo, “American Idol” winner Kelly Clarkson, country music-duo Montgomery Gentry and Grammy Award-winning rapper Nelly.
Other headliners include one of my favorite singers Pat Benatar known for classic songs like “Hit Me with Your Best Shot” and "We Belong." Mr. “Too Legit to Quit,” MC Hammer, will dance the night away. In addition, New Orleans bands will showcase their authentic Big Easy music in the “French Quarter,” a replica of New Orleans’ famed district.
It feels and sounds like this Mardi Gras celebration will be the best ever! This event runs every Saturday night through April 18. If you decide to experience it up close and personal, you will will enjoy hundreds of costumed characters, tons of souvenir beads, Cajun cuisine and an elaborate parade featuring floats designed by Blaine Kern Artists, Inc, who designs floats for the New Orleans parade.
