Santa over the Rainbow
December 16, 2009

Last week I wrote about the "Santa Over The Rainbow" holiday event at Rainbow Springs State Park, and Saturday night I headed over to Dunnellon to see the festivities in person. This event just keeps getting bigger and better. There were so many people!

Kids and parents alike went absolutely bananas when Mr. and Mrs. Claus came up the river and into the headsprings in their lighted floating sleigh. It's really great to see so many families spending some time together during the holidays, and I could tell it was a special moment that they will remember for years to come.

Don't miss out. Santa and Mrs. Claus will be at Rainbow Springs State Park on Dec. 18-20, and the park will still be fully decked out in lights. Make sure to check it out!
