Boktoberfest Plant Sale Is Oct. 17
October 06, 2009

The great folks out at Bok Tower Gardens always have cool stuff going on -- and on Oct. 17, they are stepping things up another notch with the first annual Boktoberfest Plant Sale. Guess what? You'll also have a little extra money to buy something for your garden, because admission to the event is free!

You'll want to get there early to get the first pick of the plants between 8 and 9 a.m., where you'll find lovely orchids, bamboo, palms and all sorts of other rare and unusual species. The fun doesn't stop there. Afterward, you need to hang around and listen to live music, eat German food and take your kids for some tree climbing. It's a fun-for-the-whole-family event that you'll not want to miss.

Make sure to visit www.boktowergardens.org for a complete list of activities, and viel vergnügen (that's "have a good time" in case you were wondering)!
