It's amazing how a photo can draw you into a place. I'm the type of girl who's prone to get a postcard from some far corner of the globe and find myself booking a flight minutes later. And when I saw these pictures of a luxury villa called Honeyfish for rent on Anna Maria Island, well, I immediately find myself dreaming of a spontaneous getaway very close to home.
This cheerfully painted house on Bimini Bay has its own pool and a sweeping waterfront deck. I can already picture myself relaxing on a chaise lounge with a boat drink in hand, toasting the Anna Maria Island good life. No long-haul flight necessary for this wanderlust-stricken writer--a piece of Floridian paradise is never far away.
