And we're talking seriously high-end abodes, with Wolf, Sub-Zero and Fisher & Paykel appliances and leather and mahogany furnishings. Seriously spacious, too, with layouts that range from 1,865 to 3,000 square feet.

If you're looking for a luxury family getaway--or somewhere to spend time with a group--and appreciate resort amenities such as free kayaks and bicycles available for guest use, gym and spa facilities, daily continental breakfast and poolside cabanas, well, this is your place.

Check out the photos I've uploaded. They're pretty tempting. And the fact that this resort is within easy striking distance of Sarasota's many cultural offerings makes it all the more appealing, if you ask me! The beach at Siesta Key happens to be pure bliss, too.
