It's been another mouth-wateringly delicious run at the annual Savor Sarasota restaurant week - a 14-day dining event that wraps up this weekend. Scores of fabulous Sarasota-area restaurants took part this year, including the venerable Michael's on East, Mattison's City Grille and Bijou Cafe.
And if you're looking for a suggestion on where to fete fine food on the festival's final weekend (whoa - that's some serious alliteration!), may I suggest the lively Polo Grill and Bar in Lakewood Ranch, with a menu that focuses on locally grown ingredients whenever possible and caters to gluten-free and vegan diners, too.
During the Savor Sarasota event, the Polo Grill and Bar is offering three-course, prix-fixe menus for lunch ($15) and dinner ($25).
