Hume Captures Florida Mid Am in Sarasota
April 26, 2009

Tim Hume, playing out of Hunters Green Country Club in Tampa is the 2009 Florida Mid Amateur Stroke Play Champion.

Tim shot a final round of one under par 71 to earn a spot in a playoff with Sarasota's Mark Leetzow. The playoff was short ending the sudden death format after one hole with a winning par on No. 18. Tim's final round was the ONLY under par round of the tournament as the Donald Ross designed Sara Bay more than held it's own.
