Tiger Point Golf Club to Host Charity Event
June 03, 2008
Part of the Emerald Coast Golf Trail in northwest Florida, Tiger Point Golf Club has been selected by New York Giants Super Bowl champion kicker Lawrence Tynes to host his charity golf tournament. Tynes, who grew up in this area of the state, is holding the charity event to benefit the non-profit Santa Rosa Kids House in Milton, FL.

Tiger Point GC is a terrific track in Gulf Breeze, FL that is owned and operated by the Meadowbrook Golf Group. It was chosen as the “Best of the Bay” by the Pensacola News Journal and has also hosted the PGA Tour’s Emerald Coast Open. With a brand-new 260 seat clubhouse and restaurant, it was a logical choice for the upcoming charity event. There will be local celebrities, an auction of sports memorabilia and a dinner following play.

The tournament will take place on Friday, July 11, 2008. There will be a 1 p.m. shotgun start with registration starting at 10 a.m. that morning. If you would like to help support this group and play a great golf layout, give Gregg Gagliardi of the Emerald Coast Golf Trail a call at 352- 552- 6036 or  see www.emeraldcoastgolftrail.com.
