| This is your big chance to be inside the ropes at a professional golf tournament. April 21-27, 2008 there will be a new LPGA Tour event held at Fairmont Turnberry Isle Resort & Club, in Aventura, FL.
Called the Stanford International Pro-Am, this new championship is located halfway between Fort Lauderdale and Miami, near Hollywood. The new tournament needs a large group of over 700 volunteers to work closely with the players, officials and patrons during the event in a variety of jobs. There is a cost to join the volunteer program, but you’ll get additional perks like a parking pass and tickets for the event as well as shirts and hats.
This tournament will feature 112 LPGA Tour players teamed with amateur partners. The LPGA players will be competing for a total prize purse of $2 million. It will be televised all four days on ESPN2, so maybe your friends will see you as you help run this show.
