Winter Park Country Club Offers Lecture Series
October 13, 2009
You get to watch them on TV, but how often do you get to sit and listen and interact with professional golfers, in a cozy, informal setting?

You can if you go to the Winter Park Country Club. The club has a monthly lecture series that attracts some pretty well-known golfers.

October's guest, for example, was Lee Janzen, a two-time winner of the U.S. Open and an eight-time winner on the PGA Tour. Scott Hoch has also spoken there.

Ken Green is scheduled to appear in November and hopefully officials will land other high-profile names. That seems likely since the event is affiliated with the Arnold Palmer Hospital for Children.

The club has other interesting speakers connected to golf who aren't necessarily players, like golf historians and rules officials.
