| An Early Look at the 2010 Readers’ Choice Awards from Golf World Magazine |

| Golf World magazine has undertaken a long-term voting process by its readers to allow them to vote for the 2010 Readers’ Choice Awards. Although the voting is not yet over, Golf World has released some of the preliminary voting results. Not surprisingly Florida leads two categories.
In the Best Quality Public Course group Orange County National in Winter Garden, FL
(just southwest of Orlando) has been voted #1. The PGA Tour has held final stage Q-School here several times and the course and practice areas make this a great spot to do so. Not far behind at #4 is TPC Tampa Bay in Lutz (north of Tampa). Home of the Champions PGA Tour Outback Steakhouse Pro-Am, this is a favorite of many of the Champion Tour players. Both of these courses placed ahead of the 2010 U.S. Open venue, Bethpage State Park in NY.
The category of Best Overall Value at a Resort is topped by the Reunion Resort in Reunion, FL (again southwest of Orlando). The LPGA has held events here. It came in ahead of such noted resorts as the Shipyard Resort at Hilton Head and Kiawah Island Resort, SC.
