Be Part of the 2009 U.S. Women’s Mid-Amateur
May 27, 2009
The Golden Hills Golf and Turf Club in Ocala will host the 2009 U.S. Women’s Mid-Amateur USGA Championship October 3-8, 2009.

The course, which opened in 1964, has recently been renovated by famous golf course architect Rees Jones. Jones freshened up the tees, bunkers and greens to make this 7,200-yard layout a fitting test for the women 25 years and older who compete in this event. Located in the beautiful rolling terrain of Florida’s horse country, the course has a modern links-type feel, as well as mature oaks and pines that line its fairways.

There is no admission charge for spectators. You can become part of this national tournament by volunteering to help with the event the week of the tournament. For more information and to download a volunteer application, go to www.goldenhillscc.com.
