It's a mid-week treat on Thursday, Jan. 15, when Chef Dean James Max hosts a Slow Food Dinner at 3030 Ocean in Fort Lauderdale's Marriott Harbor Beach Resort and Spa. He's preparing five courses with wine pairings -- the meal will be made with food sourced from local outlets, and the focus will be on sustainable seafood. Arrive at 6.30 p.m. for the welcome champagne reception.
To make reservations for this dinner call 954-765-3129. All-inclusive price per person: $125 ($25 from each ticket goes to the Glades to Coast Slow Food Chapter).
