I got a great newsletter from a restaurant the other day talking about why it's still a good idea to dine out on occasion--there are sensible choices, we support our local economy, hospitality is always a good thing and, above all, there are some incredible deals out there.
Here are just a few that have come through my inbox in the past few days:
Naples Originals (now through May 24--tomorrow if you're reading this on posting day) is sponsoring Comfort Food Days--lunch for $10 and dine (three courses) for $15, $20 or $25 depending on which Naples Originals restaurant you choose.
Area 31 in Miami offers its A31 Express, a new lunch choice—The express option is available Monday through Saturday, 11:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. and includes a wrap, choice of gazpacho or salad, dessert and a soft drink…all for only $17. (Want to valet the car? Then the total is only $20.) All this plus a spectacular view on the 16th floor of Miami’s Epic Hotel. (270 Biscayne Blvd. Way. 305-424-5234)
Boca Raton's Opus 5 is bring diners in the doors with a $12 lunch, which includes it all: a choice of one of nine lunch entrees (including Angus beef sliders, duck tacos or petite turkey club), a soft drink AND tax AND tip. Opus 5 has been the Best of Boca's (Boca Raton Magazine) Best Business Lunch for three years running now--here's a prime opportunity to find out why. (5050 Town Center, Boca Raton; 561-544-8000). They say it's available for a limited time (but don't say how long), so don't delay. (They are also offering a Sunday evening three-course prix fixe dinner for $22. Yet another deal!)
