| Recommending Brunch at Brosia (or for any meal in between) |

We recently decided to spend a pleasant afternoon in Miami's Design District, browsing the stores ... but of course, we couldn't start doing that until we were fortified with Saturday Brunch at Brosia. (Saturdays, 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.).
The menu is a nice mix of breakfast items as well as lunch for those who have been up for a few hours already. We got to savor some buttery corn bread as we waited for our meals, and I enjoyed a glass of prosecco -- the day was an early hot day for Spring, and it makes a refreshing starter to brunch. The signature white sangria was another option that looked tempting, filled as it was with fruit.
I found the steak and eggs benedict irresistible. Perfectly poached eggs on top of cooked skirt steak, all topped with a lightly spicy hollandaise sauce. Decadent and delicious.
We also got to try a juicy burger served up with great bistro fries.
We were way to full for dessert (and the design rooms were calling us), but there looked to be some great choices.
If that 3 p.m. deadline is too early for some of you, there's an in-between menu with a few dishes offered that will give you a great sampler of Brosia's treats ... and if even that is too early? Dinner starts at 5 p.m. Lunch is served Monday through Friday. Closed Sunday and for dinner on Monday. |
