Buenos dios. Five hundred years after Ponce de Leon found Florida, the Espana-Florida Foundation and VISIT FLORIDA on June 23 will launch a campaign to promote the Spanish Heritage in Florida. Si, es verdad! This campaign opens a new chapter of relations between Spain and Florida.
Five hundred years! That is a lot of history. Visit the Viva Florida web site to learn more. I looooove Florida history and visiting historical places. For starters, to begin your Spanish heritage journey, I suggest visiting Mission San Luis in Tallahassee and the Castillo de San Marcos in St. Augustine. Hasta luego.
