This coming weekend, Saturday, March 21 and Sunday, March 22, Marie Selby Botanical Gardens in Sarasota has its annual spring plant and garden festival. Hours are 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. both days. Special admission price is $8 (the usual admission price is $17)
Tropical plants for sale along with lots of 'how to' demonstrations and a chance to walk around the beautiful gardens, see the Banyan Forest, the Mangrove Walkway, visit the garden shop and view their great collection of orchids. This is a beautiful garden for strolling. Selby has the added plus of being right on Sarasota Bay. Enjoy. |
