Neither visual arts nor the culinary arts should neglect the littlest minds and palates. That’s just a simple matter of education. But the corporate world too often doesn’t pay attention. Enter SUSHISAMBA and Romero Britto, who have teamed up to fix that kind of cultural ADD.
SUSHISAMBA, a Peruvian-Brazilian-Japanese fusion restaurant with locations in New York, Miami, Chicago, Dallas, Las Vegas and Tel Aviv, and famed South Florida artist Britto, who is a native of Brazil, will debut a new kid's menu, served in Britto-designed, brightly adorned bento boxes, placemats and chopsticks, this summer. Proceeds will benefit the Romero Britto Foundation, which provides arts and cultural endeavors in the world's most vulnerable populations
“Our gastronomic model, restaurant design and progressive thinking have always made us unique,” said Shimon Bokovza, SUSHISAMBA Concept Developer. “So when deciding to launch a menu for kids, creating a visually dynamic experience while contributing to a youth cause rooted in Brazil struck home with Britto and his foundation.”
