A Piece of Cake...Or Three
March 17, 2008
Now this is inspired: To celebrate their new home, the Count de Hoernle Thetre on Federal Highway in Boca Raton, and their production of Marie Antoinette: The Color of Flesh, the Caldwell Theatre Company is having a "Let Them Eat Cake" party.

On March 24, from 6:30-8:30 p.m., you can savor appetizers and a glass of wine in the grand lobby, supplied by Whole Foods. There'll also be $3 cocktails for sale.

Then, inside the theatre itself, you can meet Marie Antoinette, who will be reigning over an array of sweets provided by the region's best bakeries and restaurants, including Chrissy's Sweet Treats, The Tin Muffin, Chop's Lobster Bar, Darrel & Oliver's Cafe Maxx, Cucina d'Angelo's and Arturo's.

Excluding the $3 cocktails, the whole shebang costs $20. RSVP required at richard@caldwelltheatre.com or 561-995-2328. And the best part? You get to leave with your stomach full, and you head still attached.
