The Art of Wine Tasting
December 07, 2007

Now this is the kind of art that's easy to appreciate! The Museum of Art/Fort Lauderdale has announced a brand new program called The Art of Wine Tasting. Hosted by the Museum Store Cafe and Wine Bar, it's a continuous event that features samplings of boutique vintages sourced from wine regions around the globe, a smattering of hors d'oeuvres, and a spotlight tour of a primary work of art. So now you can sip and swirl while you gaze at lines and swirls.

The happenings take place one Wednesday per month, from 5 to 7 p.m. The inaugural one is scheduled for December 12, while the January installation is penciled in for the 23rd. At these times, you'll also have the tasty opportunity to join the Museum Wine Club, which provides discounts to the Store, Cafe and Wine Bar. Admission is $15 at the door; $10 in advance or for Museum members.

Museum of Art/Fort Lauderdale, One E. Las Olas Blvd., Fort Lauderdale, 954-670-2824, museumstore@moafl.org.
