“One Night, One Gallery, and Dozens of International Artists” is the slogan for this year’s Latin American Art Auction in Miami. Held on behalf of The International Kids Fund, the auction will take place on Tuesday, Oct. 14, at the CIFO (Cisneros Fontanals Art Foundation) Art Space at 1018 North Miami Avenue.
Attracting more than 500 collectors last year, the hopes are high for this event that will welcome over 100 prominent artists from all over the world who have donated their works.
The International Kids Fund, a program of Jackson Memorial Foundation, has dedicated its mission to paying for critical surgeries, treatments, and necessary care for children with life threatening conditions. Since its inception in 2005, the organization has worked to benefit the lives of hundreds of children. By joining forces with the art community, the fund has been able to realize its mission. Rosy Cancela, chairman and founder of the auction recently said, “By purchasing art at our auction, collectors will walk away with amazing art, and also affect the lives of very sick children.”
