MySpace Musician Goes Live
May 09, 2008
Does MySpace a musician make? In the case of Carlos Bertonatti, the answer is a resounding yes. The Venezuelan-born and Miami resident singer-songwriter began releasing and promoting his songs through his MySpace page while putting together his first album. And now, you can not only check them out on his page, you can check him out in concert.

Performing his eclectic blend of acoustic, hip hop, pop originals, eclectic instrumentation, Latin percussion and sultry vocals, Bertonatti will appear live at Center Stage, Fishermen’s Village in Punta Gorda on Sunday, June 22nd, at 1:00 p.m. The concert is free of charge and the public is invited to attend.

Be prepared to learn more about Bertonatti than just his musical leanings. This musician has led a wild and varied life so far, competing with the Argentina Ski Team, attending culinary school and jumping out of planes. Though you might not hear every single “fun fact” about him, you may be able to glean some of the more interesting color, including the details about the months he spent as student of a famous Venezuelan painter, secluded with her in the mountains.

Fishermen’s Village is located off Marion Avenue, Punta Gorda. Call 941 639-8721 for more information.
