The days when artists toiled away in studios creating masterpieces with paint palettes and charcoal may soon become a thing of the past. Our modern lives have become undeniably intertwined with technology, and a few artists have begun to incorporate this reality into their work to be displayed this summer in Tampa.
An innovative exhibition at the Tampa Museum of Art entitled "BIT, BYTE, DOT, SPOT" will run until July 11. From web site projects about gender construction, to video projections of puddles and even a live audience interaction hidden camera experiment, it becomes clear to everyone who visits that this is not your run of the mill day at the museum. I highly recommend this experience for those looking to push the boundaries of their art appreciation!
